PAKISTAN SCHOOL SALALAH
Established in 1982, Pakistan School Salalah embodies the unwavering pursuit of educational excellence. The school owes its existence to the generous donation of land by His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said Al Said and the visionary leadership of Mr. Abdul Sattar Basra, who laid the foundation for this thriving institution.
Over the years, we have reached several significant milestones. In 2012, we expanded our campus with the addition of the girls’ block, followed by the construction of a residential block for our dedicated staff in 2014 which was recently converted into our beautiful Junior Block in 2024. The opening of the Admin Block in 2016 further enhanced our operational efficiency. Recognizing the need for early childhood education, we introduced the pre-junior section in 2017, broadening our academic offerings.
Pakistan School Salalah now provides education from Nursery to Grade XII and has a proven track record of outstanding academic achievements. Our diverse curriculum at the SSC and HSSC levels allows students to excel across a range of subjects. The first batches of SSC and HSSC students appeared for their board examinations in 1991 and 1997, respectively. Although these students initially traveled to Muscat for their exams, we have made significant progress since then.
We take immense pride in our affiliations with FBISE Islamabad and the accolades we have earned over the years. Notably, in 2010 and 2012, we secured top positions among Gulf States in SSC-level examinations, and in 2013, we achieved first place in the HSSC-II Annual Exam. Consistently, Pakistan School Salalah has maintained its position as the leading Pakistani school system in Oman.
In 2023, we continued our legacy of excellence by securing first positions in SSC II and HSSC II across all our branches, adding yet another prestigious accomplishment to our list. Our success is a testament to the dedicated leadership of our principals, SMCs, and the school BODs, whose commitment has been instrumental in guiding us toward these achievements. In response to the evolving needs of our students, the school has taken a significant step forward by introducing the Cambridge O Level stream in 2024.
As we celebrate our remarkable journey and look forward to a promising future, we extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has been a part of the Pakistan School Salalah family. Together, we will continue to uphold our tradition of excellence.

I trust this message finds you in good health and high spirits. It's an honour to address you as the new Principal of Pakistan School Salalah. Stepping into this role, I feel immense pride and a deep sense of responsibility toward nurturing and advancing our students' educational journey. I extend heartfelt gratitude to the school's senior management, staff, and parents for their unwavering commitment to fostering excellence in education. It's your collective effort that has established Pakistan School Salalah as a symbol of quality education in this community. To me, a school isn't merely a building; it's a dynamic ecosystem shaping future leaders and change-makers. I'm enthusiastic about sharing my ambitions and vision for our school:
Academic Excellence remains our cornerstone. We'll strive to provide a holistic education empowering students with skills needed in a rapidly changing world. Beyond textbooks, I aim to foster holistic development, encompassing physical fitness, creative expression, moral values, and social responsibility. Recognizing the evolving world, I'll integrate innovative teaching methods and technology to equip students with 21st-century skills.
Parental Partnership is instrumental. Open communication and collaboration between parents, teachers, and administration will ensure student success and well-being. Continuous Growth is our mantra. Providing professional development opportunities for staff will enhance their skills and keep us at the forefront of educational practices.
