Muscat, January 21, 2025 – Pakistan School Muscat had the distinct honor of hosting the newly appointed Ambassador of Pakistan to Oman, H.E. Syed Naveed Ali Bukhari, on his courtesy visit. He was warmly received by Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Ameer Hamza, Director of Sports, Mr. Irshad Ahmed, Mr. Ishrat Bhatti, an Embassy Representative, and the Senior Principal.
During his visit, the ambassador met with the Board of Directors and praised the school for its significant contributions to education and its role in fostering excellence within the Pakistani community in Oman.
At the Award Ceremony, H.E. Bukhari presented awards and cash prizes to students who achieved exceptional results in Cambridge examinations, acknowledging their hard work and dedication. He also distributed medals to the school’s sports team, celebrating their remarkable championship victory in Saudi Arabia. Additionally, teachers who contributed to these academic and extracurricular successes were recognized with cash prizes in appreciation of their dedication to excellence.
A special highlight of the event was the announcement of three return air tickets sponsored by Air Sial for outstanding cricket players, including perimeters, grounders, and batsmen, recognizing their exceptional performances and contributions to the school’s sports success.
In his address, the ambassador commended the school’s efforts in promoting academic, cultural, and athletic achievements and pledged his continued support to the school, its students, and its faculty. He reiterated his commitment to enhancing Pakistan-Oman relations and supporting the Pakistani community in Oman.
